I work with students at undergraduate and postgraduate level, as well as running workshops and courses for arts organisations. Teaching is not a separate activity for me, it is part of my practice.

Chisenhale Art Place Chisenhale Studios' Artist Development Co-ordinator (since 2014, ongoing) and Co-ordinator of 'Into the Wild' a year-long professional development course for recent BA graduates at Chisenhale Studios now in its 4th consecutive year.

Tate Schools Programme Artist-in-Residence 2015-16. Experimental, critical, practice-led workshops held inside the Tate Modern and Tate Britain galleries responding to their collections.
University of Westminster BA Mixed Media Fine Art. I lead workshops as part of the first year drawing module. I also give one-to-one tutorials and lecture on my practice (ongoing 2013-16). Recent workshops include 'anarchitecture: re-performing the building', 'Off-cuts: Responses to a suitcase full of gleaned urban matter', and 'Expanded Graphite: Non-linear processes in Drawing'.
Goldsmiths BA Fine Art Extension - Talk and 'mapping the group' workshop, held at Shonibare Studios' Guest Projects space (2015).
Central Saint Martins College of Art - tutoring on the Art & Art Criticism (Study Abroad) programme, Guest Lecturer and one-on-one tutorials with international students (2015).

I have also led off-site exhibition projects in Leeds and Birmingham, involving students from Birmingham City University, University of Leeds and Leeds Metropolitan University (2011-13). In association with Departure Foundation.
Hackney Wicked Festival - 2-day workshop Doing things without an Aim (in collaboration with Noga Inbar, Jack Tan and Oliver Roy). Artist-led exercises in aimless walking, aimless cooking, aimless life-planning and more.
Co-founder of Alt MFA - peer-led, free, DIY fine art Masters programme (ongoing 2010-15). The group meets every monday night and takes part in regular group shows and residencies, most recently at Kurt Schwitters' Merz Barn and Yinka Shonibare's Guest Projects space.

I give talks, guided tours and presentations at galleries and institutions, including:
Institute of Contemporary Arts London, Goldsmiths University, Islington Mill (Manchester), Latitude Festival, AltMFA, Departure Foundation, Art Licks Weekend.
Key subject areas: Alternative possibilities in arts education, how to thrive and survive after art school, hoarding (the objects around an artists practice), skin, different approaches to curating, voice and landscape. fragments, props and other transformative objects, narrative in performance, slipperiness (or art works that resist the gaze), screens and sensation, unperforming (new tendencies in performance), and walking as a nomadic site for art practice.
Community / School Workshops:
Support Worker at The Lough Road Centre (Islington Council) working with young people with profound physical and mental disabilities. February 2001 - February 2012. Particularly focussing on art therapy and creative projects.
Featherstone School, Ealing, London (drawing and sculpture workshops with GCSE students) 2011.
Chiswick School, London (leading two days of experimental drawing workshops with sixth formers, and an excursion to local art studios) 2011.
Homerton Hospital Neurological Rehabilitation Unit. Art therapy workshop tutor (two afternoons each week, July 2009 - January 2011). Book making, sculpture, puppet making, mask making, collage and drawing. Working with patients recovering from severe brain injuries. More info here.
Southbank Centre, The Art of Being a Maggot. 2009. Tutor on a science-based art workshop in collaboration with Dr Matt Cobb.
